Director of Ministry Development, ABBA Fund

Jason Kovacs

Jason is the Director of Ministry Development for The ABBA Fund, a ministry that provides financial resources to Christian couples and churches to help make adoption possible.  He also serves on staff as Pastor of Care and Counseling at The Austin Stone Community Church. He and his wife live in Austin, TX with their five children (four adopted and one biological child).

Jason is also the editor of the soon-to-be-released book, Reclaiming Adoption: From Doubt and Complacency to Faith and Action (other contributing authors include Dan Cruver, John Piper and Scotty Smith)

Prior to the ABBA Fund Jason served as a director of a biblical counseling center and as a pastor in Charlotte and Minneapolis. It was while at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Minneapolis, MN that he gained a deep passion and understanding of adoption both vertically and horizontally.

Jason brings experience on the practical side of understanding the importance of helping families financially with adoption as well as the Biblical calling on God’s people to care for orphans. It is Jason’s passion to see the church gripped with the adoptive heart of God and practically living out the Gospel through adoption and orphan care.
