Co-Founder & Director, Together for Adoption

Dan Cruver

Dan Cruver is Co-Founder and Director of Together for Adoption, a ministry that provides gospel-centered resources to mobilize the church for global orphan care. Over 1,000 people gathered together for Together for Adoption’s October 1-2 conference in Austin, Texas, to explore the relationship between the Gospel, the Church, and the global orphan crisis.

Dan is also the editor and primary writer of the new book, Reclaiming Adoption: Missional Living Through the Rediscovery of Abba Father (other contributing authors include John Piper, Scotty Smith, and Jason Kovacs). As a speaker, writer, and orphan care advocate, he helps Christians connect the dots between God’s work of adoption in the story of redemption and their responsibility and privilege to care for orphans.

Prior to directing Together for Adoption, Dan was a college professor of Bible and Theology and a Pastor of Family Ministries.

Dan resides in Travelers Rest, SC, with his amazing wife, Melissa, and his three children: one born to him and two adopted.

Dan will be leading a workshop/idea session on:

The Theology of Adoption & Pushing Toward Trinitarian Solutions to the Global Orphan Crisis

Workshop Description: Our redemption and the renewal of all creation has a very definite trinitarian shape. By the gospel God has opened up his eternal triune life to us and will one day give us a renewed creation for our eternal home. This workshop will explore how the trinitarian shape of redemption and renewal should inform our care for orphans.
