Cristin Smith
Born and raised in Southern California, Cristin lives to invite others into God’s story of redeeming humanity by empowering them to invest their treasures into His Kingdom. Her desire is to see God transform them through their offerings, which in turn, will revolutionize the world.
This life purpose is what led Cristin to co-found The American Capital Group. This boutique firm specializes in educating Christians about the reality of our financial bondage and how the choices we make either contribute to our further entanglement or to the release of our captivity.
When Cristin isn’t speaking about money and possessions you will find her traveling about and connecting churches with World Vision, an organization which brings transformation to the lives of orphans and the poor around the world. Cristin believes the church is the hope of the world and enjoys assisting them in integrating effective engagement strategies, to bring about renewal in the lives of their congregation, neighborhood, and communities around the world.
This ministry has been birthed out of her time spent at Sandals Church, where she assisted in creating a spiritual formation roadmap that not only leverages the resources of the congregation, but simultaneously guides them in uncovering the difference between physical and spiritual poverty.
Over the years she has seen the fulfillment of Isaiah 58:6-8 and it has fueled her passion for mobilizing the church compelling her to invite others to join her in this process. Her vision is to see a myriad of churches join World Vision in serving the poor around the world so that together we can emerge on the other side of poverty and in doing so, experience life abundant.
